Objectives of the seminar:

  • We will understand why plants do not cause Zirconia perimplantitis and are highly recommended in cardiac patients.
  • We will analyze the systems in Zirconia and understand why they are very useful in allergic patients.
  • Visualizzeremo i aesthetic benefits for discriminating patients.
  • We will know different implant systems in Zirconia for a career choice more aware.
  • We will learn to think and operate in biological mode, or mininvasiva and respectful of the tissues and the patient.
  • We will learn the basic procedures for effective positioning the metal-free systems.

The seminar is open to dentists, dental technicians, dental hygienists, medical representatives and other health workers.

Interverrenno:

Prof. Corrado Piconi

Associate at the Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics, National Research Council (CNR-ISTEC) in Faenza.
Contract lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Rome. Member of the Scientific Council of the European Society for Ceramic Implantology (ESCI) and active member of the Italian Biomaterials Society (SIB), of the Italian Research Society in Orthopedics (IORS), of the International Society for Ceramics in Medicine (ISCM). He was a member of the Board of the International Acaciemy for Ceramic Implantology (IAoCI). Author of over 100 articles in journals and chapters in specialized texts, with more than 2650 citations (May 2019), having as a prevalent reference zirconium-based ceramics. He has an H-index 30.1 1 (ResearchGate). He is scientific consultant for Italian and European companies producing ceramic led devices.

Dott. Franco Giancola

Former president of the Association of Italian Ceramic Implant Dentistry and Holistic (AIICOO) and current active member of the European Society of Implantology Ceramics (EXIT).
Organizer of the 1st Congress of Italian-Implantolo already Ceramics. Technical and clinical in various implant systems in Zirconia: SDS, Ceraroot, Zirkolith, Bredent, Straumann and Zibone. Consultant pensions and dental clinics.
Professional activity mainly performed on patients at risk such as heart diseases, allergies, in a protected shelter elderly and disabled and interventions in the operating room.

Dott. Noran De Basso

Noran De Basso, graduated in 1992 at the Dental School of the University of GiSteborg, Sweden.
It has placed more than 20,000 plants in Sweden and has extensive experience in resolving the complications related to the implant treatment.
Today dedicates his work to the creation of more accurate chiururgici and prosthetic protocols for implantation and development of a digital moalità in dentistry.

• 9:00 to 11:00 - Prof. Corrado Piconi: Zirconia in Implant: history, properties and state of the art.
• 11:00 – 11.20 – coffee break.
• 11:30 to 13:30 - Dr. Noran De Basso: The 11 Scientific Reasons to start using implants Zirconia.
• 13:30 to 14:50 - lunch break
• 15:00 to 16:00 - Dott. Franco Giancola: Implant systems comparison and presentation of clinical cases.
• 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Dott. Franco and Dr. Giancola. Noran Basso - Practical tests of models.
• 17.00 – 17.20 – coffee break.
• 17.30 – 18.00 – discussion and work closures
• 18:00 – 18:30 – presentation of professional opportunities
• 18:30 – completion work
